The drag has been filled and rammed and the flask is ready to be flipped over so the cope can be filled and rammed up.
OK, the cope and the drag are the names of the two parts of the mold flask. The drag is the lower half and the cope is the upper half of the set.
Sharon is brushing away excess sand that spilled over the edge of the flask. Sand is recycled in the foundry and what finds its way to the floor is scooped up and used again.
