These are parts from the previous picture's patterns. As can be seen, by using the cores the parts have a hollow center. These parts are cut in half so that each makes two actual parts. Think car thermostat housing, a flange with a short cylindrical section. What they really are is parts for an aftermarket motorcycle induction system.
