This is how it is done. The pattern board goes into this wood frame. One of the metal frames in place into the wood frame and the first side is rammed up. The wood frame is then flipped over and the second side has a iron frame placed into it and is rammed up. Then the wood frame is unbuckled and removed from the greensand mold. The mold is then moved (carefully!) to the pouring area.
