Toledo OH
Roy and Eddie visited the Village Press booth. Darn good thing that folks
have a good sense of humor!
Rich Carlstadt awesome work was on display at the Sherline booth. While the Ericsson engine is a marvel of model making art I have a soft spot for the the Murray hypocycloidal engine. It is hard to believe that this engine is not totally chrome plated but is, in fact, a marvel of the art of polishing.
We asked if Roy Bear could sit in the Maseratti but he is girth challenged and
couldn't squeeze into the seat. Miss Taffy, a more petite bear jumped at
the chance and gloated about it for hours.
There have been folks complaining that the move from the Detroit area to
Toledo made for too long a ride so they have not attended. The fellow on
the left in this photo (Eric or Ernie I just can't remember) came for the show
from AUSTRALIA!!! So, quit you bitching and get in the car and
go!

This little kid seemed fascinated by the displays. His dad and grand dad
we're pretty impressed too.
