2006 North American Model Engineering Show

Seagate Convention Center, Toledo Ohio

These two photos were sent along by Keith Springs. on May 24, 2006.  I was delighted to get them and to add this page in to display them for him.  If you have pictures you would like to contribute they would be most welcome.  It is not possible for one person to see everything of interest at a show like NAMES especially if one is displaying things.  Again, if you have something you would like to contribute to this site please send it along to errol.groff@snet.net

Here is the text of the message Keith sent with the photos:

Hello,

I really enjoyed the pictures taken at the NAMES show. I took a lot of pictures and posted them in a PhotoBucket album. Strangely I failed to take any pictures of my Monarch Corliss engine. I am enclosing a couple of pictures that a friend of mine took and I would be pleased if you would like to put them with the other pictures. The model shown was built up entirely from steel weldements and no castings were used. It was built primararily from pictures of the real one which still exist. I have been doing metalworking for a little less than three years and this is my second model.
Thank You,
Keith Spriggs
