A Visit to the Liberty Ship John W. Brown
The John W. Brown is of two surviving Liberty ships that were made famous in WWII. More than 2700 of these ships were built for the war effort and now only two remain. The John W. Brown is home ported in Baltimore MD and visited New London CT in June 2003. I visited the ship and took these photos. It was a real thrill to be able to tour this ship and relive the history that she represents.
