The Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 is shown here in cut away. That these engines were made in such vast numbers is a tribute to the men and women of Pratt&Whitney. I am proud to count myself among that number although my service at the "Aircraft" was during the late 60's and early 70's.
