Ladder_Problem.PDF is a math problem I found in the book
Machine Shop trade Sevrets by James A Harvey.

The solution I used to find the answer will be posted as

I am hoping that one of the math teachers at the school where 
I instruct in the machine shop will be able to show me a more elegant
solution.  If they do I will post that as well.
