John Deere Combine Plant

Moline, Illinois

This is the heart of a combine.  This is the mechanism that separates the wheat from the chaff so to speak.  It is amazing to watch one of these machine work.  The cutter head cuts and sweeps the grain into the machine.  The grain is separated, the grain directed into a hopper and the stalks and chaff are expelled out the back of the machine.
