John Deere Combine Plant

Inside the plant now. They have a small fleet of tractors (John Deeres of course) that tow a train of riding cars. The tour moves along at a fast walking pace and my head was swiveling from side to side trying to take it all in. My digital camera doesn't focus very quickly so I missed some shots that I would have like to get but a new camera that focuses lightning fast hasn't reached the top of the "must have" list yet.
The plant is vast and by using an intricate system of overhead conveyors they are able to almost double the effective space. The orange cast to these photos is caused by the overhead lighting in the building. The built in flash on my camera doesn't have the oomph to reach out very far to counteract the overhead lights.
