A Hardinge lathe, restored to original specs with CNC digitals added, by Babin Machine Tool, Brocton, MA. Cost: about 14k$ plus an old restorable lathe. This, along with a number of Bridgeports and oriental copies, each festooned with digital hardware, were the only recognizable machine tools I saw in the show.

The indexing chuck is stopped within 2 arc-secs, or within .0006 degrees. The brake is similar to an ER collet activated by electromagnets.
