Dearborn Homestead Show 4 June 2005
This is the base of a mortising machine. One of the things I do love about old machinery is the decorative appearance that was built into the machine. This tool appears in a catalog dated 1885 so it is an oldie.
I now realize that this is the only picture I have of this tool so if I see Bob at another show I will have to take a few more and I will add them to this page at that time.
