Dave Bono asked if I would care to go with him to this event of the Yankee Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Club so being the easy going fellow that I am I said sure. He picked me up and we headed up to Lowell MA for the event. It was a great fall day with total sunshine and mild temperatures. The fellows in the group, whom Dave knows very well, made me feel welcome as a guest and I had a nice time. A nice collection of old motors and boats were in attendance and everyone seemed to have a good time.
The meet was held on the Merrimac River at the Rourke Brothers Memorial Boat Ramp. The ramp is a state facility and very nicely maintained with plenty of car and car/trailer parking.
